WarnCar is a free technological platform that puts in contact the owners of a vehicle (car, motorcycle, truck, boat ...) that can be affected by an unusual situation with other citizens, who can be of great help to avoid incidents All this, linking an email address with your registration.
WarnCar is 100% free and, therefore, sending, receiving and reading alerts does not entail any cost.
In addition, WarnCar is a 100% private platform, we do not deal with data and do not require more than an email address and a password.
Registration is mandatory to guarantee the quality of the notices.
- The first thing is to register.
- Then you can add as many plates as you want, being necessary to enter the complete registration (with numbers and letters) and country of registration.
- With this data, users who detect any anomaly or simply want to notify you of any problem with any of those license plates (punctured wheel, open window, traffic problems, you must remove the car for any reason, notifications from the city council, etc.) may contact you.
- Alerts and notifications are private. Users do not know who sent the alerts and to whom. We send an email with the alert notification every 24 hours, if the specified time has elapsed, you can see the alert on your panel, but you will not receive the notification. We have adopted this measure to avoid the overhead of our servers, however, we work to improve the operation of the WarnCar platform.
- In order to combat spam we will only allow the sending of 3 notices every 24 hours.
- We have a system for assessing the alerts received. That way you will help us identify malicious users.
- To avoid being notified in your email the notices of malicious users you will only have to add them to the blacklist, where you can also check the notices sent to you.
- Finally, WarnCar is not intended for sending advertising or Spam , does not send third-party advertising or sell information to third parties, so we will only use your data for notifications related to the application such as notifications about alerts (which could include sponsors) or improvements and changes in the platform.
The alerts are private. Neither the sender of the alert knows the data of the person who receives it (it is exclusively addressed to a license plate related to an invisible email address) nor does the person receiving the alert have information on who sent it to them. In any case, if the alert is malicious, can be included directly in the blacklist (blacklist) so that you will not receive notifications of alerts sent by that user and, in the same way, you will help us identify malicious users.
There are different reasons why you can include someone on the blacklist:
- Send spam. To identify and decide on this type of users, the assessment of alerts is very helpful.
- Send useless alerts. Therefore, I do not want to be notified in the email.
- I just do not want to receive notifications from this user.
There are two limitations regarding alerts:
- Alerts sent : Only 3 alerts can be sent every 24 hours. We consider that it is a sufficient number of notices for normal use. In this way we avoid spam and guarantee user security and server stability.
- Alerts received : Only one alert notification can be received in the email every 24 hours. However, all alerts received can be viewed on the web in the "alerts" section.
